Important Update: NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference Rescheduled
Dear NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Community,
We have an important update regarding the 2026 NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference. Due to an unexpected and unavoidable delay in funding for this year’s conference, iKeepSafe in coordination with NICE, the conference host, has decided to reschedule the conference from its original December 2026 date to for March 7-9, 2027, at the Royal Sonesta New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference is happening! We are excited to welcome you to join us in New Orleans this coming March.
Rescheduling the conference gives attendees, speakers, partners, and sponsors the time needed to plan for the event while allowing us to deliver the high-quality conference experience our community has come to expect.
If you have already committed to participating as a speaker, sponsor, exhibitor, or partner, no action is needed at this time. We will be reaching out directly with additional information and next steps.
Updated hotel information, registration details, program deadlines, and other important dates will be shared soon. Please watch your email and the NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference website for updates.
Thank you for your patience and continued support as we make this transition. We are energized to move forward and look forward to bringing the K12 cybersecurity education community together in New Orleans in March 2027!
Sincerely,
Felicia Lamb - Chief Coordinator of the NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference & Director of Operations at iKeepSafe
Karen Wetzel - Director and NICE Framework Lead, NICE | NIST | U.S. Department of Commerce
