NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference FAQ

We’re excited to welcome the K12 cybersecurity education community to New Orleans on March 7–9, 2027. Below are answers to frequently asked questions about the rescheduled NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference.

Due to an unexpected and unavoidable delay in funding, the conference planning timeline was significantly shortened. To ensure we can provide the high-quality conference experience our attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors expect, the conference has been rescheduled from December 2026 to March 2027.

The NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference will be held March 7–9, 2027. Pre-conference workshops, early check-in, and exhibitor setup will be held on Sunday, March 7. Main conference programming will be held Monday, March 8 - Tuesday, March 9.

The conference will be held at the Royal Sonesta New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Additional hotel information, including the conference room block and reservation instructions, will be available on this page soon.

No. The registration rates will remain the same. Updated registration information, including registration dates, rates, and deadlines, is posted on this page.

The days and times of the agenda will remain the same. We are currently updating the conference program for the new dates. Additional agenda and scheduling information will be posted as it becomes available.

No. You do not need to resubmit your proposal. Previously accepted speakers are being contacted directly and asked to confirm whether they are available to participate on the new conference dates.
Speakers should watch their email for information about reconfirming their participation and additional speaker updates.

No. The Call for Proposals will not reopen for this event. The 2028 Call for Proposals will open in mid-2027.

We are working with our confirmed keynote speakers to finalize participation for the new conference dates. Updated information will be posted on the conference website as confirmations are completed.

Current sponsors and exhibitors will be contacted directly with information about the rescheduled conference and next steps.
Organizations interested in becoming a sponsor or exhibitor can continue to visit the Become a Sponsor page of the conference website for information.

At this time, we expect that moving forward, the NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference will take place in late February or early March each year.
