AGENDA & ROOM ASSIGNMENTS
Find your presentation time(s) and room assignments using the button below, or on the Whova app/web browser page. (see Conference App/Online Portal Section on this page)
The agenda may be downloaded as a PDF by locating and selecting the printer icon on the web browser page.
Speakers may not change their presentation date, time, or room assignments. If a major change is necessary, speakers will be notified by the conference organizers via email and/or Whova app announcement.
In the event of an emergency cancellation, speakers must contact the conference organizer at k12cybercon@ikeepsafe.org
AUDIO/VISUAL AND ROOM SETUP
Presentation slide decks should be created in PowerPoint or Google Slides. Presenters are responsible for bringing their own PowerPoints. Presenters should upload a backup of their presentation to a cloud storage service such as Dropbox or Google Drive.
DO NOT EMAIL YOUR PRESENTATION TO THE CONFERENCE ORGANIZERS
An LCD projector or monitor and a podium microphone will be available in each room.
Panel sessions will include tables with microphones.
Rooms will be set up in either theater or classroom style at the discretion of the conference planning team.
You must bring your own laptop or tablet to connect to the projector. We will attempt to have the most common connective plugs, but if you know what you need, please bring them.
A/V technicians will be available throughout the day to help with any technical issues
All conference rooms, hallways, and exhibitor areas will have complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity during conference hours. The network name and password will be posted in each room.
NOTE: There is no technology for video conferencing for presenters. All presenters must be physically present at the event.
Rooms will have high-speed internet.
CONFERENCE APP/ONLINE PORTAL
Scan the QR code to download the Whova mobile app.
All speakers are required to access the conference online portal/app, Whova. This is necessary to edit your photo & bio, upload PDF documents to your presentation, participate in audience discussion and Q&A, and receive important updates from the conference organizers.
Access Whova via web browser at the button. Log on or create an account with the same email used to register for the event. If prompted to enter an event code use nc3jymt2n3
HOTEL AND TRAVEL
Speakers are responsible for transportation to and from the conference hotel
Speakers are responsible for hotel accommodations. The official hotel for the conference is the Sheraton New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana
A limited block of rooms has been reserved at a discounted rate for Friday night, December 4, through Tuesday night, December 8. This rate is available for a limited time or until rooms sell out
All conference activities will take place at the Sheraton New Orleans, except the evening social, and any student camps or tours
